If you are calling from a BT supplied land line you can find out the cost of your call by dialing *40* immediately before the access number and then press # between the access number and the international number. BT will ring you back at the end of your call with the cost of your call.
For Example:
To call Paris 0145551234:– dial *40* 0844 431 2396 # 0033 145551234
The cost of your international calls will be added to your normal Telecom service provider's bill: all you are charged for is ringing the access number. You pay nothing extra to MOREdial.
Remember:
Your call charges start when the Access number connects and you start to hear the welcome prompt: save money by dialling the international number as soon as the message begins. If the number you want is engaged or does not answer, hang up promptly and call again later.
Remember:
Be sure to get the bill payer's permission before using the service.
Use BT's *40* service to keep a record of the cost of your cheap international calls to compare against your phone bill.
